Re: Vaccines
I think the flu shot is... the government's way of killing various citizens. Not really. But I do believe it is very dangerous. My father nearly died after getting the flu shot and I know numerous people who've had the flu shot and have fallen seriously ill. So, I'll never get one. As for other vacc...

Re: The First US Presidential Debate Discussion
 That's the thing I don't get about a lot of "GOVERNMENT IS EVIL" type republicans. The government is bad until people actually need them. Government [for Republicans] is only evil when Democrats are in power. And of course, it works the other way around, too. We demonize each other....

I mostly just listen to Michael Buble.

Re: I was watching the Democratic Convention this evening...
Democrats give better speeches than Republicans. You definitely didn't hear Paul Ryan's speech. Epicly awesome! Except for the fact none of it was factual! \:D/ Which is politics as usual . \:D/ But, I do think the Obama people should use the GM plant to their advantage... he should come out and be...

Re: I was watching the Democratic Convention this evening...
without shifting the blame on someone else, Romney blames Obama. Obama blames Bush. Continual cycle that will never end. I'd love to see Romney and Obama play musical chairs... because that's what they do. \:D/ Also, I listened to the convention and I thought Obama's speech was really well done. St...

Re: Church Splits
The last church I was really involved in (only missed like two services and one of those can be blamed on Top), and the church we got married in - went through a giant split years ago. A man fell during the building of the new church building and died and I honestly don't think our head pastor dealt...

Re: Attention Span
I did a lot of tap dancing under my desk in school to keep myself focused. When I was a kid, I read 6 different books at once. I used to have a long commute to and from work, and I absolutely needed to drive distracted so I'd pay attention and not lull myself with the routine. Now I work in short b...

Your Christian Hipster Quotient: 65 / 120 Low CHQ. You probably belong to the purpose-driven, seeker-sensitive, Hawaiian shirt-wearing Christian establishment, even though you are open to some of the "rethinking Christianity" stuff. You seem to like edginess in some measure but become une...

I thought the Eastwood speech was distasteful. And horrible.
