Because they have a real plot and clever characters. Also, they weren't just made for the audiences of the day. The language used, and the jokes told were such that they weren't dependent upon the society of the 70's.

Record players are sweet. Unfortunately, my parents were so excited about new technology that they threw ours out as well. Though, to their credit, we hadn't used it in years and it was just taking up space in the garage.

It is unfortunate how much tax money goes toward housing for criminals. When you think about it, the victims are the ones paying for that cable television, root canal, and last dinner of filet mignon. I don't think it's right. In the big city near my hometown, we have the problem that we don't have ...

I don't know that it would be wrongful for the people to do it themselves. I'm sure the courts have just as many feelings of vengence as ordinary citizens do. And you could consider it self-defense.

Of course, the best way to go is to have the courts convict him, but if they hadn't....
