Smells...

Yes, smells.

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

What a fun topic!
Some of mine are:

Old fashioned roses
fresh-baked cookies
lilacs
New baby dolls :anxious:
and baking bread.

That's all I can think of for now.

Yes, new baby dolls. They smell really good!

Oh, and I'd have to agree with ajamj about the smell of babies. :)

I love the smell of clothes/sheets after they've been hung outside. *rolls eyes in sheer delight*

Nah... if I hang something outside it just smells dirty. Must be the air pollution. ;)

I agree with babies and baby dolls!
Pine trees, yes.
Fresh cut grass, yes.
Rain- especially the way the asphalt smells soon after the rain starts.
Cookies!
Pumpkin pie!
The faint scent of skunk that wafts miles away and makes me feel like I'm in the country and not surrounded by freeways. :D

I had to laugh at your mention of skunk, Darcie. Every time my family is driving on the highway and we smell a skunk my siblings or I always say something to the effect of, "Smell the fresh country air!"
As much as I love being in the country, I never liked the smell of skunk.

When that happens, my mother always says, "I don't like your new perfume, (insert sibling's name)!"

Once- my dad was in the kitchen opening a can of tuna, and all of the sudden my mom says "I smell a skunk!!!". She was look out all of the windows- closing them, trying to see the skunk....and- for some strange reason, the tuna smelled like skunk to her. So, we always have that on-going joke. O:)
