I had to laugh at your mention of skunk, Darcie. Every time my family is driving on the highway and we smell a skunk my siblings or I always say something to the effect of, "Smell the fresh country air!"
As much as I love being in the country, I never liked the smell of skunk.

When that happens, my mother always says, "I don't like your new perfume, (insert sibling's name)!"
Once- my dad was in the kitchen opening a can of tuna, and all of the sudden my mom says "I smell a skunk!!!". She was look out all of the windows- closing them, trying to see the skunk....and- for some strange reason, the tuna smelled like skunk to her. So, we always have that on-going joke.
