If you haven't read the book, by all means see the movie (and then read the book!! \:D/ ). If you have read the book, brace yourself for a bit of a disappointment (it's not horrible, but it is a disappointment).

I love MercyMe (at least their earlier albums), and I was so excited about Coming Up to Breathe , but when I got it, I was horribly disappointed. It just seemed empty--where was that song that made me cry or gain a deeper view of God? There was nothing profound. I'm not too keen on any of the songs,...

I'm actually a writing major, but I'm extremely mathematic. Ridiculously so. I'll take license plate numbers and zip codes and the last four digits of phone numbers and divide them down to their lowest prime factor all the time. I also calculate percentages of everything imaginable. Yes, I'm pretty ...

I totally LOVED the videos growing up! A couple years ago, my dad mentioned that they were only 45 minutes long, and I didn't believe him. I really thought they were full-length. But then I went back and watched them, and sure enough. Wow, they're well-packaged! And yes, I was WILD about Mike (and s...

Patch the Pirate was a staple in my household growing up. My parents would usually get us the new one every year as a Christmas present. And yep, I went to Patch the Pirate Club when I was little. I used to be able to do a great Sissy Seagull imitation, too!

I watched a scene from that movie in class, actually. It was where the blindfolded guy had to crawl across the field with another guy on his back. My heart was pounding when he made it to the end zone! That's all I've seen, but it sure looked good! \:D/

Nope, definitely not a kiddie movie.
I thought it was weird how the first movie grew progressively darker, but the second movie grew lighter. Still, it ended darkly.
