I enjoy Marvel in general and love Captain America - though this is a new Captain America. I also love Harrison Ford, so obviously as soon as I heard about this project I was very interested! I'm hoping to see it soon after opening day to avoid spoilers (like, within a week or two.) My usual Marvel movie buddy will be unavailable, so I might just go on my own. I don't go to movies solo very often, but I actually have enjoyed it the few times I did that.

I went on my own OPENING DAY and had the entire theater to myself. \:D/ So, uh... probably not a good sign overall. I liked it overall to be sure, tied up some loose ends from very early MCU and I like Anthony Mackie and obviously Harrison Ford. Although it kind of gave me a weird vibe of "This is okay, but it would've been amazing in 2005," like it somehow just felt dated as far as action set pieces and dialogue. I know it had a BILLION reshoots etc so that probably didn't help. I would definitely give it a thumbs up but its not a new favorite or anything. I'm much more enjoying Daredevil: Born Again (and I don't really care about DD as compared to Captain America or Sam Wilson).

I haven't made it to the theatre yet but still hope to see this....maybe. At this point it might hardly be worth the effort compared to waiting for it to hit Disney+ but I still would like to see it in theatres if I can make it happen. I've been a combination of sick and super busy, so when I technically could go, I use that time to do laundry or rest.
