Post a castle.
(not an international paperclip event)
Post a castle.
Post a picture of a castle or a link to a picture of a castle. Illustrations are fine as well. The castle can be real or imaginary. In one week, I will look at the ones which have been posted and the poster of best picture will get $50.
(This event is purely my own private initiative and in not associated with International Paperclip.)

I declare Countess the winner. She gets $50.
Missed this, but I'll post what I would have used anyway.

This is one of the disadvantages of living in North America: there aren't heaps of castles just sitting around.
We didn't stop at all we were just passing through, so for us it wasn't much of anything. Really just a mountain road that went through a lot of trees. Occasionally a high spot would be poking out with an old house or ruin on it. I happened to notice that one was actually a castle and was able to get a photo as it went by.Countess wrote:Wow. O_O What are the alps like?
