Every once and a while, when the existence of this thread touches my memory, I have sufficient cash, and I think it would be enjoyable, I will post a trivia question or riddle and the first person to answer correctly gets a prize:
You can research the question using any method that you desire.
The first question: What is this called "⁂"?
prize = $5

I think it's an asterism.
Tikvah is correct
Next question: Who is the first King of Hanover not to be born in England?
Next question: Who is the first King of Hanover not to be born in England?
George V, who was born in Berlin.
OxR is correct. The first King of Hanover not to be born in England is George V of Hanover, not to be confused with George V of Britain.
This is a riddle of sorts: Sodium + Iron = Rubidium, how?
The first person to post how sodium + Iron = rubidium, will get $5.

Bookworm is correct!
The atomic numbers of sodium and iron add to make the atomic number of rubidium.
I don't feel like posting another question right now, but I if someone could post after me so I can post again when I do feel like it that would be nice.

Is there a restriction on answering two in a row?
(And I realize this isn't the kind of post you want because you need to respond to it, thus negating me making it for 'next post' purposes

Nope. Anyone can answer.
Here is the next question:
What is the website that is named after a Honolulu International Airport shuttle about roughly?
The prize for this one is $10.

I'm assuming that would be Wikipedia, so it's an online encyclopedia.Moontide wrote:What is the website that is named after a Honolulu International Airport shuttle about roughly?
While Wikipedia is named after that bus indirectly, I am looking for website named after the bus directly. However, my wording of my question was ambiguous, so you get prize money anyway.
The first person to say the topic of the website directly named after the bus get another $10.

The WikiWikiWeb, about software design patterns?
Tikvah wins the prize. However, I am feel lazy and am not going to post another question right now. If someone else could post after me, that would be nice.
You could also just leave that for now, then repost the winner announcement with the new question when you're ready to continue.
I'll take the free post opportunity though.

Who am I? I'd rather not answer that question, the real question is, "Who are you?". Right now I am trying to think of something witty to put here.. I might not find anything, but that's fine. This block of text should be fine for a signature. Wait, are you still reading this? Why are you reading this? Stop. Seriously. This sentence is true.
The sentence above is false.
I dare you not to read this.Maybe if I talk like this.
Wait, you still see me? *sighs* I give up.
