Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey
a new book is coming out this year about Mr. Benedict.
anyway I'm reading The Children's War By Monique Charlesworth
and O Pioneers by Willa Cather - It's #83 on the ALA's most frequently banned/challenged books. I have no idea why I'm reading it either.

Just finished Over the Edge by Brandilyn Collins...now I have to get back to The Amish Nanny. Still haven't finished it.
And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. ♡
Frankenstein, Killing Lincoln, and the Screwtape Letters. I also recently finished When the Sleeper Wakes by H. G. Wells, which was surprisingly good.
I finished A Necessary Deception by Laurie Alice Eakes, it was excellent. Next up for me is Love Finds You in Folly Beach South Carolina by Loree Lough. The Love Finds You series is wonderful. Easy, fun romance both contemporary and historical set in various towns around the United States. I need to read a contemporary now. I've read so many historical novels lately that I feel like I'm in a time warp.

"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." Abraham Lincoln
I'm starting The Secret by Nancy Rue--the last book in The Salem Years from the Christian Heritage Series.

I finished The Children's War, it had one of the worst endings possible, the story was pretty good, but there were a few too many modern words for my taste and the story lagged a little too much. Off to read O Pioneers!
I just started reading Killing Lincoln, and it is fabulous.
