I don’t think you’d have to do that, since as I said multiple people create new accounts if coming back from long absences.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to get clarification on if it is technically against the rules or not since I always thought it was.

I think the rule against double accounts was mainly for people who had 2 CURRENT accounts, posting on both of them at the same time.

Now and then people return after a long absence and make a new account. It isn't a big deal. It's not like there's any money in the old account and she's trying to use it to get more money or anything.

Laura was correct in stating that we discourage multiple accounts being used at the same time, but this kind of situation happens sometimes.
