Super Bowl LIX

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Super Bowl LIX

Post by bookworm »

Discussion thread for Super Bowl LIX, Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles!
February 9th on Fox at 6:30 PM ET. Also streaming for free on Tubi.
  • Kansas City, the defending back to back champion, is making their fifth Super Bowl appearance in the last six years.
  • This is a rematch of the Super Bowl from two years ago where the Chiefs beat the Eagles to start this streak.
  • If the Chiefs win they will be the first team to ever have three consecutive Super Bowl championships.
I plan to be in the Chatroom in #NFL if anyone wants to drop by while you're watching, or just come hang out even if you aren't watching.

I will regard the Super Bowl with even less interest than usual, since I sometimes watched (bits and pieces) with my dad but won't this year. I hope all the NFL fans out there get a good game!

It was a bad Super Bowl and it should feel bad.

I didn't really have a strong preference since neither team were the Bengals, and they both have recent Super Bowl appearances and wins. I was vaguely for the Chiefs in theory because of my love for Get Smart and I like the AFC and they tend to get silly extra hate on them because they have a player that's dating a celebrity. But fortunately I didn't really care very much. >_>

I was cheering for the Eagles, just tired of the Chiefs winning so much...so I was happy with the result. My 7 year old was ecstatic when he heard the news, he likes the Eagles because his favorite color is green.
And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.

Haha, whatever the reason, I'm glad your son was pleased with the result of the game! That's cute.
