Polaris Dawn Spacewalk

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Polaris Dawn Spacewalk

Post by bookworm »

SpaceX's Polaris Dawn mission is about to have the first ever private astronaut spacewalk in a couple hours, which is pretty significant.

Info and livestream here!
(The watch button currently shows the stream of the launch from a few days ago but it should update when they start streaming the walk.)

It got delayed a few hours so I couldn't stay up to watch live, but I watched the replay. It was amazing! They showed a first person helmet cam when exiting the capsule for the first time, and then the shots of them moving outside was incredible!

Splashdown was last night; mission success!
