Actually, it's time to announce a new set of post count ranks! The tradition used to be that mayoral teams would come up with a new list, and since the one from the Town Council a few years back has stuck around without alteration, it's definitely time for a change.
We don't intend to reveal the new rank list at this time, to give you an opportunity and incentive to explore it, but we do expect to release it around the end of our term.

You better have reinstated "Catspaw Rocks" it is a travesty that historic rank was ever removed.
I did study early rank lists, and I'm not sure it is as historic as, say, "Spam King". 
We understand that this rank holds a special place in some members' hearts, however. A perusal of the census information should answer questions about this subject.

How? It was a rank from the beginning days of the board.
The earliest rank list I found, Eugene Blackgaard's, didn't have it. I'm also not aware if it was on any of Bmuntz/Catspaw's lists, Jonathan/Evil Chick's lists, or Trent/Frank's lists.
So, I'm not currently aware of evidence for it being there, as a rank, from the literal beginning. It may even be closer to our time than that. However, there's no doubt it is objectively a very old rank, much closer to the beginning than the present, and it is also a significant and influential rank that has a role in ToO culture.

"Beginning days" not necessarily day one, but it showed up within a year so pretty darn close as site history goes, and it remained in place for ten years after that.
Bob's post sent me looking through my old term two old mayoral board for the list Barry and I had, since I didn't have a strong memory of it. We purposely didn't post them originally so people could have the fun of discovering them (or apparently that's what Shadowpaw said after I posted the list and he removed it) but there's no reason not to share at term two list from 2005.
