Have you ever wanted to serve as a mayor for this fine town? Well, the time has come to make that a reality. Once again, we are giving one lucky person the opportunity to be mayor for a week. As mayor, your job is to plan and run 1 event of your choosing for the week of May 22nd-28th.

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must answer the following writing prompt by PMing it to me by 11 PM CST, on Friday, May 20th.

Why do you want to be Mayor for a Week?

Briefly describe the event you will run. (Event type, process, timeline.)

Once all the submissions are in, they will be voted on by the admin team. The winner will be announced at some point on Saturday evening. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Since we are still waiting on entries, I have decided to extend the deadline another week. All entries must now be in by 11 PM CST, on Friday, May 27th, with the term to happen the following week. I woulld also like to take this time to point out that your event doesn't have to span the whole week. If you have a small idea for a few days, you can do that. Then just enjoy the shiny purple name for the rest of the week.
