A legend returns
Yes, definitely one of those facts you don't want to dwell on too long.

Unless it's dark chocolate.

Yes indeed. I should have been more specific. Good chocolate (a.k.a. not dark chocolate) is always worth it.

I definitely dislike the chocolate that's done in percentages and too dark, but Hershey's special dark is my favorite go-to.

Ketchup as medicine? Man, yesteryear was weird.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOO!
Other places are okay
And some are fine
But as far as hometowns go
Well, Odyssey is mine
Oh, it's the place to be
I'm sure you will agree
Have you ever been to Odyssey?

Learning this was way more interesting to me than it ought to have been for being such an inconsequential realization. I just never thought about the details of how that sound is produced before. (Because why would I have?)It's impossible to hum while holding your nose.
Yes, there are so many things we just don't have a reason to think about! Of course I had to give it a try and got a weird sound in my head when I did.bookworm wrote: Fri Apr 08, 2022 8:18 pmLearning this was way more interesting to me than it ought to have been for being such an inconsequential realization. I had to try the humming thing as soon as I read it.
While this is not a random tidbit, I felt it important to include this today. I am so thankful to serve a risen saviour today. Who knew that in 2022 I would need Him in so many ways.Happy Resurrection Sunday!
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Matthew 28:6
Thanks for the Easter reminder, Bren! It's a great way to celebrate Jesus on such an important day.

Talk about a random and interesting fact! That is so odd to watch.

I had never heard about this before, so I assumed it must have been some weird thing they did way back; but it was actually not very long ago!McDonald's once tried to sell bubblegum flavored broccoli.
Haha, I was wondering the same thing, so thanks for the link, bookworm! It sounds like it didn't make it very far and that's why we didn't know about it. I don't understand how this can be possible with the difference in atmospheres, but apparently it's true. I'm not a geologist or astronomer.Canada's lowest recorded temperature is as cold as the surface of Mars!
(The linked article is not about the same incident this tidbit references (which was in 1947), but I used it because it had more details than any that I found about that older occurrence specifically regarding the Mars comparison which is what I was trying to make make sense. And it shows that this temperature equivalency has actually happened more than once.)
Yes, that's one of those random facts that seems like it must be made up but isn't! Thanks for the article link, bookworm.
