Of all time, or just from this year? :P
Mostly just this year, I probably should have been more specific with my statement ;) I know you love the films "The Dark Knight" and the "Lord of the Rings Trilogy" Which I also happen to love, they are some of my favorite movies ever. So not of all time. Just this year :P

Cool, well I've actually been keeping a list all the year that I regularly update, so it's pretty precise. ;) I'm expecting (hoping) it will change again when I get around to watching Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty.

1. The Master
2. Brave
3. Safety Not Guaranteed
4. Moonrise Kingdom
5. Ruby Sparks
6. Life of Pi
7. Blue Like Jazz
8. Cloud Atlas
9. The Perks of Being a Wallflower
10. The Words
11. Sinister

I know, it's awful, look at all those obscure films that nobody's ever heard of. :x I'm just hipster like that.

No, but actually, I have an obsessive love of arthouse films. ;) Heck, there's a french film called Holy Motors that's being billed by critics as the greatest film of the year, I just haven't been able to get my hands on it yet.

Actually I've heard of these on the list

1.The Master
2.Brave
4.Moonrise Kingdom
6.Life of Pi
7.Blue Like Jazz
9. The Perks of Being a Wallflower

I am really happy to see the Perks of Being a Wallflower on your list Jelly. I have not seen it, but from the two trailers I have seen and the one scene I have watched (Charlie's Final Letter) I was incredibly moved by it. It looks like everybody really put all their soul into that film. I will have to get my hands on it.

Hey, nice! Yeah, I was expecting something different from the trailer of Wallfower, but the movie itself completely surprised me and blew me away. I was almost embarrassed to like it as much as I did. :P Both Moonrise Kingdom and The Master are on a lot of critic's year-end lists, and Life of Pi was a masterpiece on so many levels. Blue Like Jazz is one that most people probably haven't seen but that a lot more people should see. ;)

Yeah, I have yet to see Blue Like Jazz, and Moonrise Kingdom, but I really enjoyed Life of Pi and Brave, like I have said before. I think I'm going to read the Blue Like Jazz book, and watch it on DVD, its interesting they used a kickstarter to fund the film. The problem with these films, is they aren't big enough that the rest of my family wants to see the, and since I am thirteen I can't exactly drive myself there...

You're teasing me! I've been looking forward to seeing Life of Pi so badly, but it hasn't worked out that I could go yet. You're recommendations are encouraging. I was afraid they might ruin it, turn it into some lightweight fantasy adventure thing.
