I haven't gotten very far in Twin Age yet, but the combat system is quite different from the Swordcraft Story games. Whereas the SS games have a Tales -esque battle system (side-scrolling, etc.), Twin Age has more of a top-down battle system, which Wikipedia describes as more like Ragnarok Online ...
