Congratulations, gimp80995

I know that gimp hasn't been on here posting in the last few years, but after a request about her a while ago, I managed to find her (actually, she found me--turns out while she doesn't post here, she does frequently read posts). Anyway, over the last month or so I've heard rumors that she is ...

Well, I'm visiting long time friends that I grew up with. We were next-door neighbors for the first 14 years of our lives. Gas at most of the stations around here is at 3.99, but two area super low. One at 3.61 and two blocks away one at 3.55. Much to my shock there wasn't and endless line to get to ...

Fried food is great! Fries, fried chicken, fried shrimp, and fried crawfish are all amazing! :D

THANK YOU! I knew I wasn't the only person in the world who ate crawfish. I can eat insanely large amounts of them, they're delicious. I've never had them fried before, only boiled.

And fried frog ...

I found the thread Gimp started and bumped it. It was too good NOT to bump.

Speaking of Gimp, I noticed she use to post a LOT here, but then slowed way down and after that just abruptly stopped. Anyone know what happened to her or how to contact her?

OK, well the prodigal poster is back--for now.

I saw the "seat belt" thing and rememberd this and have been looking for it since. Just found it and re-read all the posts, just about died laughing. That was good, I needed a laugh.

The turkey bacon I buy is far healther than pork bacon (and even says so on the package).

Because OF COURSE they wouldn't lie on their packaging simply to sell more product ;) .

In all seriousness though, I do realize that it's healthier for you (it definitely doesn't taste as good as pork bacon ...

For a few years I did not celebrate it because it wasn't Jesus' actual birthday, not even close to his birthday. But then I started thinking about my own life and family. My parents did NOT try to do it on purpose, but our family has over half of the month of August filled with birthdays between ...

On a side note, I find it ironic that lobster was "poor man" food back then (since no one would eat it but the poorest of the poor, and gentiles) and is now one of the most expensive high-class foods on the market.

I never thought of that before.

Here's my take on it. God said what we could or ...

I'm thankful that most of the Thanksgiving leftovers are gone.

I'm also thankful that in a few short weeks I'll be on a plane to go home for Christmas (yes, I'm obsessed).

Once again I'm thinking about the homework that's due Tues, but if I were smart I'd get it done today so I don't have to worry about it tomorrow. *thinks about it* I'm not that smart. *goes to get a dish of ice cream and watch TV for a while.
