This is crazy

We're not voting for our President this year (we will in 2008) but we are voting on individual state's governors and senators. Each state has someone that is "winning"

I hope not.Dr. Watson wrote:No!!! Webb just went ahead by 3,000 votes!! Only one liberal district in Northern Virginia and a district in Charlottesville still has precincts reporting. I think Allen just lost.
And while the MN senate race is definatly lost, it sounds like the Governorship is still a deat heat.
And as much as election night can be stressful for me, I do love it. It is nothing short of fascinating.

C'mon Allen, you gotta win!
It'll probably go to a recount...

How dare I call this love and not bear my cross to the end.
It looks like Pawlenty is slowly gaining ground. Every time I refresh he's a couple hundred closer.
EDIT: Hennepin? You mean the one blue county in Midsouth MN?

I hope the Republicans can keep control of the Senate...

Which makes me very happy, as I don't like Hatch. Pawlenty has done a lot for the state, and it's unfathomable that he wouldn't be re-elected.STRYPER wrote:It looks like Pawlenty is slowly gaining ground. Every time I refresh he's a couple hundred closer.
But of course, if a conservative is productive, he'll be ignored -_-;
If I could see the map you're looking, at I'd say yes. Though I'm pretty sure you're right. It's the county with Minneapolis in it, and as such it's the most liberal one in the state.STRYPER wrote:EDIT: Hennepin? You mean the one blue county in Midsouth MN?
edit-whoa, he's really pulled ahead. 10 grand lead. Didn't see that coming.

Well, Corker won Tennessee, so that means Republicans have to win just one of the three remaining Senatorial races (Virginia, Montana, and Missouri) in order to keep control of the Senate. Control of the Senate is key for things like apointing judges and funding wars... so yeah.

I'm not sure if some people get that George W. Bush isn't even running this time around. The media says that a lot of people are going to vote against the president, but he's not running.
