The Final Harry Potter Book

So, what did everyone who read Deathly Hallows think? I liked the book with the exception of the final chapter. I thought it didn't wrap things up as nicely as I would have liked.

I live in Holland and we caught the very edge of the storms. However my sister who goes to school near Grand Rapids said that the entire campus lost power on Friday.

I like it because it's simpler and less annoying than Myspace. There is a growing number of us over there. 34 members so far in the ToOers group ! You must be a member of Facebook to see the group, and requests to join must be approved by JF or David O, so it's relatively safe for those that prefer...

The thing is, particularly with this book, you have to condense a 900 page book into a movie. For the most part they kept the Key events in the order they occurred in the book, but it didn't hurt the story to have it moved later in the movie so it would be easier for people to make the connections. ...

My experience with reading Jane Eyre was just like any other book I've read. I was determined to get through it in spite of the fact that some spots are harder than others to read. However I am glad that I read it because a few years ago I discovered a new author, Jasper Fforde who basically writes ...

Actually A&E and Masterpiece Theatre did pretty good adaptations of the book. I watched the Masterpiece theatre version this past winter and was actually pleased of how good it was and was pleasantly surprised on how accurately it followed the book. The actress who plays Lucy in the recent adapa...

I've read it and I will admit it's not an easy read, but it's really a good story. One option that might be open to you might be audio books which you can find at your local library. Sparks notes generally won't get you through because teachers expect you to read the entire book and will ask questio...

Here's why I liked it. I hate the book! OotP is the Harry Potter equivalant of The Two Towers. It's long, It's capslock Harry all the time. Pulled off of my post in the Leaky Lounge: What did you think of it? I thought it is the best so far. I do admit some of the edits were rough, but they cut the ...

I saw it in IMAX 3-D and it was awsome. I will admit they cut out a lot of stuff, but they cut out the right stuff (The book is 800-900 pages long depending on which version you have). OotP is very much a psychological book and quite frankly a lot of Capslock Harry could be cut.

Stick to canon people. If the third one they made wasn't bad enough why...why...WHY do they have to do this one ](*,) . Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea are fine because they, at least, stick to the books.
