We're going down to see family because my cousin is headed to New Mexico in August. He's National Guard, and is being sent to work Border Patrol.

We're going to set off fireworks and have a cookout!

What do you guys have planned?

On Sunday (which is when folks up here are having their fireworks display), we're all (Top and my parents) gonna be at an undisclosed location, to watch the fireworks.

I think we're gonna cook out and perhaps have my brother (and his family), along with my grandparents over... It'll be quite fun! \:D/

I'm going to be out in Sawyer, KS for my cousin's day camp. :D
I don't really set off very many fire crackers usually, but I do enjoy fireworks display at night!

We're a little bit redneck, :D , so we set off loads of fireworks. We don't do anything crazy like chase each other with them, but. . . .

We usually drive somewhere to watch the fireworks downtown, and buy sparklers for when we get home. Where we live you're not allowed to shoot off fireworks, but our neighbors do and we watch their's!

Because of how the holiday falls, we are celebrating 2 days! On Monday, a ton of my aunts, uncles, cousins, their extended families, and my Grandma will be an aunts farm for fireworks and a bonfire. Tuesday we will all be back for a cook-out. That way, no one has to miss out because of work!
