Don't be asking the Lady Marian to be making sandwiches. :x

They always get ruined if you don't do it yourself. :(

Plenty! Take Sonic for example. I tell them plain and dry chicken sandwich. They give me chicken sandwich with disgusting mayonnaise. And just about every other restaurant too. Plus nobody has my touch with grilled cheese in my family besides me. Tis a shame.

Bad experiences. And I was raised that way. And I really hate ketchup... and just about any other condiment.

Let's consult Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranch_dressing Onions=automatic no no. Plus it just seems gross from what I remember. Or think I remember. It's been awhile.

No, I'm totally cool with you taking all the blame. You go right ahead.
"And the Lord saw that man had created the Internet, and He was most distressed. For once people started using chatspeak and improper grammar, their level of smartness was decreased by more than 500%. And so the Lord removed all the gifts he had once bestowed on man, and it was very sad." The Book of Marvin, Chapter 351, Verse 442.

That doesn’t make us better or worse, we can’t control what our members do in that regard.
Of course we cannot directly control them, but we can definitely influence their decision of whether or not to continue posting.
No we can’t. You have no way of knowing why they stopped.
I can draw from personal experience when I say that one’s enjoyment of a message board or lack thereof is not the sole factor in their possible falling away. I joined this site years ago and loved it, but then a combination of factors forced me to take an hiatus for several years. Not because the people here influenced me to stop posting, because I was simply unable to continue. As soon as I could return I did so immediately, and have been active again ever since.
No, it is definitely not the sole factor. However, the message boards are similar enough that we should be able to get a rough comparison between the boards of the people who leave out of discontent.

The percentages of people who leave for other reasons can be ignored, as this is a rough estimate. The boards are similar enough that we should be able to assume the percentages of people who leave for real world issues are the same between boards. The ratio (between the boards) of total leaving people should equal the ratio of the people who leave out of discontent.

I fail to see how you can assume that. Just because the main subject on the boards is the same doesn’t necessitate that the factors dictating member longevity are the same, or that the same number of members are affected by those factors.
