I completely agree. Especially since we passed the FT deadline so that's settled.

EDIT: Also, if possible can we do it before August 5th?

I'm working to get EK finally on board. The email invitation wasn't sending. :-k

Guys, I'm having trouble imagination a live draft working. It's nearly impossible to get all 8 of us together for an entire evening, and an "offline" draft wouldn't really work. Let's say we did a slow draft with each player posting their pick in this thread. How long would each player have for each pick? 24 hours? That means it could take more than a week, just for the first round!

I suggest we all take some time to do pre-draft rankingss, and let the computer draft it out. If you don't like one of your picks, we could have a month of trading time! Thoughts?

I personally thought the auto draft with pre-ranked players worked well last year, and I would rather do that. But I'll do whatever the consensus is. ;)

Yeah, autopick works fine. I only wanted to change it because I've developed a really complicated draft strategy. Either way, let's get ready for some football. \:D/

Assuming we can get EK on board, our autopick draft is scheduled for Wednesday, July 25 at 5am. That means you have two full days to choose what players you want the most. If you would rather let you have the computer decide everything for you, then you don't have to do anything. \:D/ If anyone thinks the draft should be moved, let me know.

This year's players (we can change the divisions if we want to):
East: American Eagle, bookworm, Stop Wooton Around, Monty
West: Laura Ingalls, Knight Fisher, Jason Whits Son, EK

I still haven't got EK on board (I think I know what the problem was, and it should be fixed...). We obviously want him to play, so the draft MIGHT need to be postponed a day or two to straighten things out. We'll see.

I say we do it in the thread. That way it's more interactive, also I just got my email, I'm signed up! Also, yes randomize it, it's not like "oh I had Eli and Megatron last year and won so I get the bottom pick." no it should definitely be randomized....also if anyone gets eli/cruz/nicks (well nicks is injured but still, nicks) before me, I'll cry. :(

As usual I have no idea what to do, so I just left the list more or less how it is. They’re already sorted by who’s supposed to be the best, right?

That's highly debatable. But in theory yes. :P

I'm going to be putting together a Dream Team and will be tracking how they do during the season. Seeing if I can actually predict the best group. \:D/
