If your life had a theme song
I was ranting to my friends the other day about how much cooler life would be with a soundtrack. And your own theme song. What would yours be?
Life would be pretty cool with a soundtrack; that each person could hear for themselves individually. Anyway, theme song...maybe Skyscraper by Demi Lovato
Till the end of the line.

Oh, I'd have six kajillion. Some days it would be "I Love Rock 'N Roll" by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, some days it might be "Held" by Natalie Grant, some days it could be "His World" by Crush 40; when I'm thinking about two of my failed relationships or about my experiences with show choir, it's "Bye Bye Bye" by N'Sync. Today (as it's the Friday before spring break), it's "Free" by Crush 40.
Overall, though, I'd have to say that my life's true theme is either "Firework" by Katy Perry or "Fireworks" from the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix soundtrack. I have a thing for colorful explode-y things, I guess.

"White and Nerdy" by Weird Al Yankovic is definitely my life theme song. A close second would be "I Fought the La" by the Newsboys.

This would be another theme song of mine, like when I'm obsessively watching Star Trek or geeking out over Harry Potter.Aeva wrote:"White and Nerdy" by Weird Al Yankovic is definitely my life theme song. A close second would be "I Fought the La" by the Newsboys.

Thanks for getting that song stuck in my head, Dan.
LotR soundtrack, either pretty awesome or utterly creepy.

Probably fireflies by Owl City! That pretty much describes my weirdness....
American Honey by Lady Antebellum or Knee Deep by the Zac Brown Band.
American Honey is so nostalgic and pretty much describes my childhood and how I always wish I could go back to when I was a little girl and Knee Deep is the story of my life. I'm always just wishing I was knee deep in the water somewhere... only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair.

Off the top of my head, "Emphasis" by Sleeping at Last (the quote in my sig is from that song). It's really beautiful, please listen to it. Sort of a wimpy choice compared to everybody's crazy stuff, but that song just means a lot to me.
Silly choices....."Independence Day for a Petty Thief" by House of Heroes and "Life's Been Good" by Joe Walsh.

If there ever was a song I dislike more than 'Baby You're a Firework'.DanP740 wrote:You act like that's a bad thing. The Kings Daughter wrote:Thanks for getting that song stuck in my head, Dan.

^aw, but Firework is a good song. Just stay away from the music video...
anyway, more songs would be Perfect by Pink (clean version), and beautiful things by Gungor, and Strong Enough by Stacie Orrico. As far as being deep or profound those are the ones. Raise your glass by Pink is a more fun one

I know, right? Firework is a great song, and about the only good one Katy Perry has ever done.Shennifer wrote:^aw, but Firework is a good song. Just stay away from the music video...

I'm not sure.
Something epic from a soundtrack. "To Aslan's Camp" from the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is definitely a great one. It's just a score though... If I had to pick a song with lyrics I'm not sure what I'd go with.

Some of the lyrics are off, and I'm not a big Superchic(k) fan, but whoohoo this takes the cake.
Love you always, SnC
