The ToO's Fantasy Football League

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Akers prevails! \:D/ That means that you and I (as the #2 and #3 seeds) will see each again next week in the playoffs...
What can I say, I like sports. And I'm competitive. ;)

Well, they did take away the nullified FG, so you only won by 2 points. *sobs* Why did I start my Packers' defense for the first time in forever?! I would have won. :x

Wow Laura. If the Bears can control Rodgers I have a shot at winning!

I'm afraid you lost by a mere 4 points. :(

On the bright side, I crushed Laura to move on to the finals! \:D/ I'm sorry, Laura. 13 of my 16 team players scored 10+ points! It was just my week. However, next week will be even more challenging! American Eagle vs. Stop Wooton Around for the championship. :o

Congrats on the win, AE! \:D/ Although I'm sad to go out like that...I would have liked to at least be in contention instead of slaughtered. ;) I'm happy Brees broke the record this week, though! Yay!

And your image doesn't work. :P Congrats. And can we have keepers if we do it next year?

EDIT: Oh great. If Laura's kicker gets 5 points she ties it and wins. This is going to be a close race for third place.

Come on, Dan Bailey! Just 6 points! \:D/ I want to at least make third place after being tied for first for so long. ;)

This has been really fun this season...let's do it again next year.

Congrats on the (almost final) win, AE! :highfive:

You can do an all country playoff challenge on NFL.com. Whoever wins gets a trip to next years Super Bowl.

I can't believe I lost. :mecry: I should have started anybody other than McCoy, but I went with the ESPN people telling me he was a must-start before I left for church. :x

Ugh.

Is that a league thing or just individual? I don’t want to do it if I wouldn’t continue competing against you.

Define: "keepers".

~ IMPORTANT ~
To make things easier, I created an ESPN "Gridiron Playoff Challenge" for our league. It's similar to what we've played all season, but instead of drafting players, you're given 50 "points". You use those 50 points to "buy" players. For example, Tom Brady costs 6.8 points, Frank Gore costs 6.1 points, Calvin Johnson costs 5.9 points, etc. You have to fill your roster using 50 points or less.

I sent an invitation to all 6 of this year's players, but if you're already signed in to ESPN, you can quickly join now by going here. Even if you didn't play in the regular season, ToOers, feel free to join in the fun! \:D/

We would each get to keep two players from our current roster and get them next year. Then we would just draft the rest of the team.

That was a really good game Laura. Both of us could have won it with guys on the bench.

I joined! And I am ready to compete!

I hadn't heard about this feature, but I'm open to the idea. Is it something we need to set right now, or if/when we reactivate the league next year?
