Would you look at that? I didnt even place. So I'm assuming I can auction off the set, right?
Uh-no. After you enter the set in a contest it is the property of the contest host.
That's just the standard I've observed.

This is an outrage. I was going to do a sig like that, but I decided on the one I sent you because I thought a coherent one would be better in this instance.
I’m adding fine print to my submission:
If you don’t choose it I get it back.
(Because, as you’ll recall, I made it for me and decided to submit it instead.)
You can keep using the avatar if you want.

You never said that. If an artist wants to enter a painting in a contest, they should definitely get it back afterwards. What do you guys think?Steve wrote:Uh-no. After you enter the set in a contest it is the property of the contest host.

There was not statement that the people the entered in the contest would lose rights to the things they submitted, there for they retain the right to resell or wear them.
No hard feelings, Steve. But if you want the set, you'll have to buy it from me.
Well, in that case, have it back. It's yours again.iluvsns wrote:No hard feelings, Steve. But if you want the set, you'll have to buy it from me.
