Do you think the writers should say where Odyssey is?

I wanna know!

Should the writers say once and for all where its located? I wanna know!!

I think it's most likely Illinois, or Ohio. But I think it Illinois, based on all the info we have gotten over the years. How about you guys?

They will never say... originally it was Ohio, but they basically have slipped in information that if all put together contradicts every possible location--I'm sure that's intentional. It's "EVERYTOWN, USA"... it shouldn't have a specific state or location.

^Actually it's ODYSSEY, USA, but that's beside the point. They writers should most definitely NOT say where Odyssey is, then what would we get paid for?!

No one will believe me that it's located around Fort Wayne, Indiana. :x

I highly doubt the writers have a set location, so how could they release it? :- It's probably just supposed to be out in the unknown.

I am pretty sure it can't be Illinois. I forget where but in some episode they took a plane to Illinois. so I am pretty sure that it would have to be a state a little farther away from Illinois then Illinois itself.

yes they fly to Chicago so it's not IL. Mike Trout (former co-host of FOF) said it was Ohio during one of the Family Portraits wrap arounds with Dr Dobson.

I agree they never really stuck with saying it is in OH but that is the only state they have ever given. I don't think they want any one to feel excluded.

I think that with everything they gave away on the location it can't really be loacted anywhere. It just doesn't all match up. Like what Top said.

besides, what's the fun in knowing where exactly it is? Odyssey is a made up town (which is as big as a city pretty much and yet small as a town. They like condridictions) so it's not really located in one specific state.

They already did say where it is. Listen to Family Portraits eps, they said it's in Ohio.
Um, I guess this is where I'm supposed to say something funny or interesting.

Nope not at all. If they say a specific place they'll be tied down to one location and all the fans will point out every mistake they make.
