another Odyssey and my toddler thread

she's a big fan

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

Yay for another Odyssey/EUCC thread. \:D/ I'm glad you're raising your daughter in the ways of AIO. ;)

Thanks, yes I do talk to her about Jesus, she can say Jesus, Christ, Mary, Joseph, Angel, and Earth (as in Jesus came to Earth). She loves singing Happy Birthday Jesus. She's a little snuggle bug and gives nice hugs and kisses to her bunny.

"Od-see" is adorable! I'm glad to see she's progressing in her love of Odyssey! :D

That, my dear friend, is good parenting!
"And the Lord saw that man had created the Internet, and He was most distressed. For once people started using chatspeak and improper grammar, their level of smartness was decreased by more than 500%. And so the Lord removed all the gifts he had once bestowed on man, and it was very sad." The Book of Marvin, Chapter 351, Verse 442.

or would it be Jim Dailey now? I remember making Katie Leigh a birthday card when I was a kid and getting a thank you letter back.

18 month old update

says "odyssey garage" (where she and Daddy listen to them)
"Hi there" like Whit says in the older episodes
"whit"
"Jimmy Barclay"

Now she is usually choosing to listen to Odyssey instead of her music!

That's so cool, EUCC. Your daughter is fortunate to have been given the gift of Odyssey at such a young age! \:D/ Thanks for the update. I hope that everything is going well for you and your family. :D

Thank you, yes she is very verbal and healthy. She already knows that Jesus is good, and we pray to Jesus. She says "Amen" after prayers. The other week she was flipping through my husband's Bible aka Jesus book saying "Allelujah, I love you, Allelujah!" And yes she says Whit and recognizes the complete guide to AIO as being "Odyssey book." We are doing well and ready for spring!

That's awesome EUCC! I have an almost four year old brother who loves Odyssey. He can recognize Whit (he calls him Whittaker), Connie and Eugene.

She left many of us behind. She left us heartbroken. And though we cry now there'll come a time when we'll laugh. Because we'll see her again someday. We'll be with her in heaven. And when we go to heaven she'll be there to greet us. She'll be there to say "Welcome home." -From a poem that SnC wrote about her grandmother

That's awesome. I can't wait to have a kid so that I can teach them about everything about Odyssey. Hopefully their first word will be "Novacom", then I'll teach them "Mind Control", "Andromeda", "Blackgaard", "Ruku", and "TA418".

That's awesome, I would love it if my kids' first words were one day "Eugene" or "Operation: Think-Tank" or "Would you like a muffin?" or best of all: "To borrow the colloquialism"!!
Image
Eugene-"Well, the sequence of events occured with extreme rapidity, but I shall attempt to recall them. I was powering my two-wheeler along this concrete pathway, when your personnage suddenly appeared directly in front of me blocking my course. My reflexes immediately sprang to life in an attempt to navigate an evasive manouveur around you while still maintaining course and speed, but I evidently over-compensated, and my Schwinn careened off the hardened path, taking me with it, and up-ended us both in this shrub, a Rhododendron of the heath family I believe, deducing from the leathery evergreen leaves, as distinguished from the deciduous Azalea, which as we all know is..."
Isaac-"You mean, you crashed into this bush cause I got in your way."
Eugene-"Well, that of course is another way of expressing it." Isaac the Benevolent
