Programming

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Yes.

I've done C++, Java, Visual Basic, SQL, and Perl.

...with varying degrees of skill. ;)

Does SQL count? ;)

As far as real programming languages go, I have the most experience with php. (which.. is technically a scripting language) ..if html and css count then I'm very proficient in both of those. \:D/

I learned some C++ in a class a couple years ago. Forgotten most of it.

Beginning to learn some HTML and CSS ... and don't want to forget it! :)

I took a course last semester in java, and may have made a few infinite loops :anxious: It may have a few time been me trying to fix the loop, and a few school computers may have crashed. :anxious:

I can do a tiny, tiny bit of HTML, aka "Hello World", as that was the sample that I was instructed to do in the beginning.

Yes. I used to make website layouts so I had to know HTML and Java. Crazy as it sounds, I loved it!

Quite proficient in CSS (and HTML, of course). I know some Java, and currently I'm working at getting better at it. I've also done some PHP and toyed with ActionScript 2/3.

I know enough HTML to make basic websites and know some Basic. If knowing Wiki codes counts, then you can count that, but it's not much different than these codes and such.

That doesn't sound crazy, it does sound fun! \:D/

I don't really know anything near well enough to write it from scratch (except maybe AIML, but I'd need a memory refresh), but I can edit HTML, Java, and AIML (previously mentioned) to a fairly good extent (i.e. I can read it and know what does what which, actually, I can do with a small number of codes :-k ).

Are you guys talking about Java or Javascript? 'Cause there's a rather large difference between them. I'm assuming you're talking about Javascript. ;)

By Old Microsoft Basic, I mean Microsoft Basic from the 80's and early' 90's. Included with most home computers at the time, including the Commodore 64.
