AIO Casting Call

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

AIO Casting Call

Post by Kairi »

So, if AIO ever became a tv show/miniseries/movie, who would you cast in the roles of our beloved AIO characters?

(And no, don't even mention A Day in the Life. Don't even think about it. ;))

Whit. Definitely Whit. (Although if he plays Jack, he can play Jack and Donovan (sp)!)

Bill Cosby should play everyone. (That is, Bill Cosby from twenty years ago when he was still funny.)

No, Corry Burton and Jess Hernal(spelling) could play every one. (or at at least the voices. I wonder if one of them can do better whit than new Whit?)

Not bad. And each episode would only cost $50,000,000, too!

Indeed. But it would be much more than $50M, assuming this is a feature-length movie. Many of the most major actors charge $10-20M for just one film (I know this of like Julia Roberts long ago, and some others). Regardless, it would be a big budget!

But I was amused at the list. Very accurate! :D

On the other hand, Focus on the Family is having financial woes and they even had to let Marshal Younger go. :anxious:

It's not a perfect list. I think there are some like Eugene Meltsner and Rodney Rathbone are almost impossible to be represented.

Actually, all of those options had to do with looks. Some better than others. Obviously, I don't think Nick Mulligan is anything like Mark Walhberg. But some are like exactly almost dead on: I mean, how many of us think of Fred Holstein looking like someone like this:

It'd be cool to come up with a perfect list that everyone agrees on.
