I thought the previews looked kinda lame myself, but I'm glad you liked it. I probably won't see this one.

I may or may not be boycotting this because I liked the original book way too much.

...
well, it makes a decent excuse anyhow
"Sonuna" Taranimak ("Sonuna" Sharkquill) has been content lately. She admired own very fine Bed recently. She talked with a parent recently. She talked with a friend recently. She had a good meal recently. She admired a fine tastefully-arranged Desk recently.
She is a citizen of The United States of America. She is a member of The State of Minnesota. She is a member of The Town of Odyssey.
"Sonuna" Taranimak likes Bauxite, Copper, Green jade, the color navy, cloaks, ballistas, cats for their aloofness and hydras for their seven heads. When possible, she prefers to consume Dr Pepper and ramen.
She lives at a relaxed pace. She tends to avoid crowds. She has a fertile imagination. She is completely disorganized. She is very distant and reserved. She tends not to openly express emotions. She needs caffeine to get through the working day.

How can they make a movie based on a book and not make it based on a book? :-k

*sigh* The question many book fans have asked themselves after horrible adaptions...and still they are made. :noway:

I enjoyed it. It was sort of like watching a video game, though.
maybe its not the destination, maybe it's the journey

Ugh. I LOVED the book. And from the previews, it looks like they totally butchered it.

I am such a purist when it comes to making movies like the books.

I have pretty much come to a point where I just look at the movies and books as totally separate entities, that way I don't get as indignant \:D/

I thought it looked totally dumb. But it looks as if its not that bad. Not counting the fact it really has nothing to do with the book. :boohoo:
I'll see it on video.
