Babies
So when was it? That last time I held a baby was about an hour ago, but that was the first time in three years

Didn't we have some fun, though? Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said, 'goodbye.' And you were like, 'no, wait.' And then I was all, 'we pretended we were going to murder you.' That was great...
It's been at least a few months...I couldn't say for sure. I'm not much of a baby person.
A couple weeks ago I was helping in the preschool room at my church as usual when I was asked to go help in the nursery, since they had almost 30 kids under two in there.
I was willing to go, but fortunately, a mom who was helping in a different room switched with me so I helped with the three-yer-olds and she went to the nursery. I always take it kind of personally when babies cry when I'm holding them, and I'm not really used to babies. A couple minutes of holding one is enough for me.

Last night! Yay! Two younger couples are in charge of our youth group, and they both have one kids so far (although both are pregnant again, yay!), and I got to hold them both! And one's my cousin, so that's even better.
And then we've got like, five babies at church, and, not even kidding, at least seven women at my church are pregnant! Yay! I'm so excited now, becuase I love little kids. Except when I'm babysitting them and they're being bratty.

September.
My aunt came "home" for a month, and brought her 6 month old daughter. She's such a cute baby!
She's coming back for Christmas too, so I'll be able to hold a baby over break.
EDIT: Ok, I don't know what I'm saying. I work in the nursery at my church, so I hold babies almost every Sunday. D'OH!

Last night!
I got to hold my newest nephew!
He was born in August... He's usually rather fussy, but last night he let me hold him for about 20 minutes before he started crying! And I always run for the parents whenever a baby starts to cry while I'm holding it.

Babies kind of scare me. I mean they're cute, but I get nervous when I'm holding them, especially if their parents are just standing there watching me like "You'd better not mess up! That's my baby you're holding!" The last baby I held was really good though. Her mom kept looking over and saying: "See, you're a good baby-holder."

So what are you going to do if you have kids?Continental Admiral wrote:Last night!I got to hold my newest nephew!

That's not a problem if I don't have any.Vixen wrote:So what are you going to do if you have kids?Continental Admiral wrote:Last night!I got to hold my newest nephew!
