I don't know how to find factions that aren't in my list but when I look under the factions list it says I'm a member of them and can't join.

I know you are on a hiatus but I wanted to ask you these questions while they are on my mind. You can answer them whenever you feel like it.

First, what is "BCC" mean? Like, when you are PMing someone it says you can "Add BCC".

The other one is- do you vote in elections? And when you vote, do you vote solely on how much experience one has? Or do you vote according to their platform? ...Or is it a mixture of both?

You should be able to see all usergorups at http://www.thetoo.com/ucp.php?i=167 (the usergroup tab in your User Control Panel). You can't join groups that you already belong to. ;)

BCC means Blind Carbon Copy- to send a copy of the message to someone else also without the person in the To box knowing it. This is the same as in your email program. CC would be Carbon Copy, or to send the message to someone else with the recipients being able to see who else got it also.

As previously noted, when Catspaw took over this position, she was relieved of the necessity to decide for whom to cast her vote. She only decides in the case of a tie. You may be able to search and see where she has answered this herself more completely. :D

I can find five instances in this thread (11, 12, 13, 14, 17), which is about 29% of elections. It is very likely, however, that Catspaw has been asked in other places as well. :-k

So how come I've seen posted with "double post fixed -(mod name)"? I thought we had a feature that automatically combined double posts...

To start a faction you must have 5 people willing to join and pay a fee of $5000. :)

I have greatly enjoyed my hiatus! Most of the things asked here could be asked just as well through a private message, or not being asked at all. ;) People don't read the old posts anyway (especially since there are so many pages) so the same questions keep being asked again and again and again, so it's not like I save time answering here instead of in a private message that nobody else can see.

So therefore, there is no foreseeable end to this hiatus! \:D/
