Well, the mod's ready to go. I'm setting it up for release tomorrow whenever I get it uploaded. \:D/ In the meantime....bed. ;) Enjoy the new mod list guys!

Okay, so on the index page...I was like, "this looks soo weird..." :-s But then I was like, "oh! the announcements are different." =o

It's currently only available on greyscale, but should be distributed to the other styles soon. It looks like Darcie took the time to make it work while I was gone! Yay Darcie. \:D/

I don’t understand the usefulness of this. You can see that box by simply opening any forum.
The real problem is that new posts in announcements don’t show in the ‘Last post’ section of any forum on the index, so you have to check the box to see if one has been posted in.

Well, now you can see new posts to them on the index! And get right to new posts instead of being linked to the first post of the topic. The box we had was because this option previously wasn't available. :)

...and that's the usefulness. It negates the task having to check for new posts on the announcements all the time by putting them on the index.

And plus the box was never aesthetically appealing. :noway:

I must agree with this. ;) To me it just makes things look more bulky, it's like having an extra event subforum. That in itself is confusing enough. But this one stays forever! :P Which is weird for me to say, since I think it actually looks kind of cool on one hand. xD HOWEVER is this practical? ^.- You all should give everyone a week of the new(old) one and then take a poll or something. \:D/

Hmm, looks like the main complainers have only mainly been around after we upgraded and had to use the current announcement box...
