So...go see the movie so that you understand the comment!
Then if someone says to you, "...then why are you smiling?" you can answer, "because I know something you do not know. I am not left-handed either!" Then you can fight them with your sword and do flips off strategically placed horizontal bars and other spiffy choreographed moves! And when they drop their sword, you can bonk them on the head and run off to fight Andre the Giant!!

Definitely well choreographed! I love The Princess Bride! Fezzik is so sweet! "I went to the stables, and I found four white horses. And I thought, 'There are four of us if we ever find the lady'. Hello lady!"
And I love the rhyming scene. And the Miracle Max scene. "Chocolate coating makes it go down easier."
Just a (small) warning for those who haven't seen it yet. Just because we all love it doesn't mean that there aren't a couple of minor issues. One bad word and one mystical kind of scene that some people will dislike. The first time I saw the movie I was surprised by that because I had heard so many good things from such nice Christian people! So don't be surprised, and enjoy the rest of it, which is really good!
I finally saw it for the first and second times yesterday. It was pretty good, though I think I had higher expectations because everyone made it seem really amazing. I liked it, though.

Ah, I hate when I'm disappointed in a movie because the hype over it was so big.
But for me I've been watching it for 15 years or so (and what feels like a thousand times in the last month!), so I know all the lines and all the jokes! Just watch it a few dozen more Arwen, and then maybe you won't feel let down by those high expectations.

LOL. I actually found it to be more funny the second time. It's one of those ones that grows on a person, I guess.

Bwahahaha! Thread bumping thanks to the Motion Picture Archive.
This was the one movie I brought with me to my current academic institution this past September. I'm just now (well, I started it last night) watching it now that it is summer and I don't have regular classes with assignments through the summer. It is like a comfort food, old friend, warm blanket,...etc.
Hold it, hold it. Grampa, you read that wrong!
...
I'm telling you, you're messing up the story. Now get it right!

What is a quote from The Princess Bride that you use relatively frequently in real life?
One of my most commonly used is:
Valerie wrote:Bye, bye boys! Have fun storming the castle!

I just run through Fezzik and Inigo's rhyme duologue. Never fails to impress people that I can quote it... or the majority of the rest of the movie. Not so sure what that says about me. Heh. *sheepish*

Either of the above would be appropriate.
