If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!
Let's discuss our teeth, and what has been done to them over the years!
I got 6 baby teeth pulled so I could get braces, and I've gotten all four wisdom teeth taken out (two separate occasions), and now wear retainers every night since I got my braces off two years ago. But I've never had a cavity.

Good idea! I've had about eight teeth removed on different occasions, have never had a cavity or my wisdom teeth removed, and got braces last Thursday!
My brother had to get all eight of his front teeth removed at once when he was nine... *Shudders*
The only thing ever done to my teeth was me wearing an expander for about six months... Wasn't even really my teeth, though; it was my jaw. The upper one was too narrow. 'Overbite' or something.

I have had a cavity, and I got all of my wisdom teeth removed a year and a half ago. It actually didn't really hurt much, I ate solid food the next day. I have perfectly straight teeth though and never needed braces!
I've never really had anything done to my teeth. Yet..... Never had a cavity, and I've never had any teeth pulled, unless you count my dad pulling out a baby tooth that was really loose. I actually still have 2 baby teeth! my teeth came in really slow, so I'm almost 15 but I still have two baby teeth. I'm probably going to have to get them pulled this summer so I can get braces. I'm getting braces in August. I'm not looking forward to that... I'm probably going to have to get my wisdom teeth pulled soon after that, but for now, nothing.

I have... dental issues. I had braces way longer than everyone else I know, four or five years, and had to get teeth pulled and oral surgery done throughout that process. I have wisdom teeth coming in and should have them removed but since that cost money I'm putting it off as long as I can.
I have... some cavities, haven't had one recently and don't really remember how many I have. Probably have a couple more but, again, I avoid the dentist because it cost money. I have been having some tooth pain so I will have to give in eventually. I brush my teeth obsessively and still get cavities and my mother is the same way, so I assume I just inherited bad teeth from her.
I had braces for seven very long years. Upon reflection, I tend to think that the orthodontist may have been a con artist or something because, when I got my braces put on, I only had like 4 adult teeth and the rest were baby teeth which aren't a real reflection of how your teeth are going to turn out anyway.
Nevertheless, my poor teeth have been moved, pulled, prodded, laser whitened and generally tormented in every way imaginable. But hey, I have really disturbingly straight teeth now, so I guess if you don't need money for college and want to be able to eat an apple with the utmost of precision, it's the way to go!
I've never had any dental issues (even after putting a ten year gap between dental appointments ), but I went to the dentist this year and the he wasn't sure if I'll have to have my wisdom teeth removed or not. *gulp* I rather hope I may avoid such an unpleasant procedure.
I have only been to the dentist twice in my life. Both of them were just checkups. Unfortunately, I will need to get braces soon because my teeth are kind of crooked, but my parents want me to wait another year so that I can "finish" growing.

I had braces on just my top teeth for two years because a tooth was stuck up in my gums. Then I had my wisdom teeth removed a few years ago. Just recently the dentist thought I had a cavity (my first), so I went in to get it filled. Then he wasn't even sure which tooth it had been in because it was so tiny, so he just sealed 2 different teeth instead of doing a filling. So I'm still claiming to never have had a REAL cavity.
And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. ♡
My wisdom were surfacing last year and they came just above the gum, but then they went back under. And then they tried coming out again, but are nowhere to be seen, lol.
I currently have braces, and am supposed to for about eighteen months.
I've definitely had my share of cavities. A few were not noticed until after the (baby) teeth were out. And I have probably 2 or 3 fillings right now. I'm not sure because they're white-ish.
I have never had braces, but I want them because I have a few gaps I'd like closed.
About 2 years ago I had all my wisdom teeth pulled at once. They were all still under the gums and I was awake during the surgery. It was quite the experience.
What a coincidence, I just got back from the dentist. No cavities, praise God. I haven't had cavities for a few years. However, I had boatloads of them as a child. One check-up I had EIGHT of 'em... two trips to the dentist for fillings... not fun. Thankfully, my teeth have actually improved as of late. Huzzah.

I just now realized I should've also listed "surgery" in the poll, because there's also that. One of my friends got 3 front teeth knocked out playing baseball, then his older brother got a couple teeth knocked out and others broken playing with pvc pipe swords in his dorm room.

I had braces for about 2 years, got 'em off just before ending homeschool and going to 'real' school. Then I had a retainer for awhile (I'm still supposed to wear one at least at night, but I haven't worn it for...probably a couple years and it still kinda fits so maybe I should start again). I've had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out when I was in 7th or 8th grade (I have a very mature mouth apparently). And it wasn't too bad either; I threw up when I got home, but I survived. I've had a few little cavities that the dentist was able to seal so they don't count
Oh, and another option not on there: gum grafts! I've had two, both my lower front gums because they were receding. I don't like gum grafts because you have be careful where you chew and bite down on food. And it takes two full months for it to completely heal. Though fortunately you're not on the same diet the entire time
and that's all for my dental experiences .....so far.
I only had to have my top two wisdom teeth pulled last Friday. The right side is still tender but the day after my surgery I was outside hitting baseballs around. I have like 3 cavities right now that getting filled really soon. It sounds like a lot but it is all the same type of tooth (position). I have always had deep grooves in my teeth and my front tooth have minor discoloration from my feeding tube as a baby (I had open heart surgery when I was 6 and 1/2 weeks old). I have also had braces!
