Proud Of

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Did you ever do anything that you were extremely proud of? If so, what?

I just graduated HS. I'm proud of that! I'm proud of acing my two psych classes... but the enormous feat still lays ahead. I know God is leading me into the future. I just have to hold on and work hard.

I true not to be proud of much... it is all God, anyway. He deserves the glory. For everything.

I was about seven when this happened. My family and I were eating at a restaurant. We were almost done with our food when the lady from the table across the room came over to us. She said that she admired how polite and mannerly I was. This lady looked like she belonged in high society. I wasn't even trying to be polite and mannerly. I don't think my parents remember that day, but I always will.

The fact I'm gonna perform on the piano in front of 700+ in an auditorium makes me proud. There's also graduating from high-school, but nothing beats the eventual piano performance. If it's for something done in the past, then it's the fact I won the 2009 String Player of the Year in an Indonesian school I attended that makes me proud.
