The first thunderstorm of the season was last night which meant that the garden was full of water in the morning and the roses were pretty happy about it:

It's actually burgundy, but it's really dark. The contrast was upped on that picture, so it looks even darker.

AE: The irony is that I was grouchy about the weather but, in retrospect, had it not been as cloudy as it was, the photographs wouldn't have turned out nearly as interesting. ;)
