Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!
I don't know if this as been done before... but I want to know if you know or ever met someone you is like an AIO character?
The other day I went to the dentist and the woman who did my teeth acted like that character that "liked" Mr. Whittaker. I don't know her name.. But it was so funny! She wasn't as hyper as the lady on AIO, but she laughed like all the time! She sounded just like her when she did.
So, have you every met or know anyone that is like or somewhat like an AIO character?
Connie and my mom are very much alike. Neither of them know very much about computers, and there are several other similarities. There's also a guy at my church who looks a lot like Jack Allen, and lady at my church who sounds almost EXACTLY like Joanne Allen. And GX is a lot like Jimmy.
She left many of us behind. She left us heartbroken. And though we cry now there'll come a time when we'll laugh. Because we'll see her again someday. We'll be with her in heaven. And when we go to heaven she'll be there to greet us. She'll be there to say "Welcome home." -From a poem that SnC wrote about her grandmother
My cousin sounds like Connie. (doesn't really act like her) Her dad, my uncle, acts just like Bernard! It's hilarious. If Dave Madden ever.....deceases... then they should ask my uncle to be Bernard.
I forgot to mention that at my youth group there is a girl who sounds EXACTLY like Liz!!! I really mean that! And in AIO Liz is supposed to have red hair... and the girl that sounds like Liz has red hair! I wish I could record her voice, you all would be amazed.
Oh, and my youth leader kind of act and sounds like Chris. She is always smiling and laughing.
I just remembered, on Mother's day we went out to eat at this restaurant, and one of the people who worked there looked strangely familiar, but I just couldn't put my finger on who it was. Then I realized that he looked almost exactly like Dave Arnold! I know he's not a character on Odyssey, but I got a kick out of it.

My brother and dad are like Eugene incarnate (without the Coke bottles, but they still have glasses). And at a drama club meeting yesterday, there was a very talented girl there who was kind of dirty blonde--and her name was Mandy! The whole time she performed her monologue, I kept thinking of Mandy Straussberg.

As in "high-pitch, and then randomly middle-pitch and low-pitch?"
