Mine also in no real order:
1. Skillet
2. Jars of Clay
3. Superchick
4. Flyleaf
5. Charlotte Church
6. Addison Road
7. Tenth Avenue North
8. Red
9. Celtic Woman
as for the Newsboys, I like Micheal Tait, because dc Talk was one of the very first rockier groups I listened to, along with the Newsboys. I do miss Peter Furler and Phil Joel though; I miss their accents and their older CD's.

Till the end of the line.
Don't get me wrong I do like DC Talk but not because of Michael Tait, because of their music. Michael Tait just makes the Newsboys a different band.
very true, Micheal Tait did change the Newsboys from being unique to slightly more generic. I still love the Newsboys, but their different now.

Till the end of the line.

Well, I don't know if it'd be on the CD, but during Winterjam they played "Jesus Freak", and in the last 'my best friend was born in a MANGEEEEEEEER!!!' ....well, you can imagine my hysteria, I assume.

Yah, that was like the first kinda rock like CD I ever got (Jesus Freak) and I thought it was so cool. Jesus Freak is still a pretty cool song even though I've heard it maybe even thousands of times. Has anyone heard the Newsboys song called Born Again or something like that? I think that is like the first song with Michael Tait the nesboys made; it does really sound like a different band. Has anyone heard of Children 18:3? They are such a cool band! They're music is kinda like Five Iron Frenzy except much better. They are three homeschooled siblings and they look really weird. Look it up!
BTW: Their name most likely comes from Matthew 18:3

If anyone wants to find out info about a Christian band you hear about here, look it up on Jesus Freak Hideout. They have lots of music videos and reviews of CDs and competitions and tons of other stuff. Check it out, it's an awesome site.

I actually never really cared for the Newsboys so I haven't listened to them since SHINE was all over. But I enjoyed Tait's solo work so I just assume he is awesome in the Newsboys.
My favorite band of all time is DC Talk, I think, its a shame though that they were just hitting their stride when they decided to split up.
Runners up would be Petra and Relient K.
Only one of my three favorites still actually exists.

What is this blasphemy?! Five Iron Frenzy is WAY better than Children 18:3. Besides they don't even sound alike!ricrocflow wrote:Has anyone heard of Children 18:3? They are such a cool band! They're music is kinda like Five Iron Frenzy except much better.
Slight sarcasm aside, I really like Children 18:3. They are the best Christian punk band since MXPX.

If I remember right, I think my dad has that CD. I'll check it out. Thanks.ricrocflow wrote:Nice. If you like the violin stuff a lot there is lots of it in Boy On A String in JoC's self titled album.

Oh, and did I mention that I LOVE their version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen? It's so beautiful.

Online cousins with Connie K.!

I recently found this website and it is awesome! You can listen to any song you want on Grooveshark. I am pretty sure it's legal too. (You can't download stuff for free). While your there, look up Terminals by Relient K. It's an awesome song. It's produced by Adam Young (Owl City) who is a good friend of Matt Theissen. It's not on iTunes for some reason but look it up on Grooveshark.
