Things You Don't Like Doing

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Things You Don't Like Doing

Post by Sapphire »

What things do you not like doing? I dont like talking on the phone. I know that is strange, but I have my reasons. One is my voice sounds very weird on the telephone.

I don't like to clean my guinea pig cage. It is big and smells nasty.

I also don't like talking on the phone. Umm, I don't like doing the dishes. Can't think of anything else...I can usually find a way to enjoy whatever I'm doing. Like a spoonful of sugar kind of thing. \:D/

I'd rather talk on the phone then via text message or online.
I dont like communication via text message cause it's majorly unstable. I almost lost a friendship because my phone wouldnt send a text

Same here! But I'm getting a lot better at it.

I don't like eating eggs of any sort, I don't like being sick, I don't like Babe: Pig in the City and I don't like BEASTS!

I dislike talking on the phone. I am quite the observer, and when I can't see a person's facial expressions it drives me nuts. Yes, if you know the person well, you can usually guess their expressions, but still. :noway: It's also a difficult thing because of the fact that I'm not really a good conversationalist.

Yard work is another big one. Cutting grass, trimming bushes, weeding, ....you name it, I hate it. But I suppose most people do...

I don't like listening to music I don't enjoy, but I'm sometimes forced to.

I don't like to dance (However I love to headbang and play air guitar)

I don't like cleaning of any kind.

I don't like being overly organized. If, on rare occasion, it seems like I have things in order, I quickly remedy that. ;)

I also don't like text messaging, hearing "twitter" discussed in otherwise serious conversations and eating steak out of politeness to the chef.

I dislike disorganization. I work best in extremely organized environments. (Of course, sometimes organization is an end in itself rather than being a means to an end. O:) ).

I don't like most Christian fiction, grammatical errors, salad (or most other healthy foods :p ), or procrastination (though I succumb to that last one quite a bit. :( ). I'm not too fond of lights being on while I sleep, or of the combination of snoring roommates and no earplugs. Whether or not I enjoy talking on the phone depends entirely on who I'm talking to; it's quite a lifesaver when trying to keep in touch with family and friends from hundreds of miles away.

And, finally, I am very frustrated with my Windows Movie Maker ( :noway: ) and absolutely abhor public speaking. :bolt:

I agree that it's pretty cool and user-friendly (what with my limited video-making skills)... that's why it's constant crashing and inexplicable audio muteness are frustrating. :(
