What is Your Favorite Movie Soundtrack?
If there is already a thread like this please don't hate me I'm still kinda new!
I love soundtracks! Some of my favorites are Phantom of the Opera, Pride & Prejudice (both versions), and The Chronicles of Narnia, though Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, and others are also great to listen to. I hope to get the soundtracks for Lost (first season) and Ever After sometime soon!

What are your favorite movie soundtracks? Mine would have to be Gods and Generals, Gettysburg and Lord of the Rings (all of them). I've also heard The Man from Snowy River soundtracks, but they aren't my favorites. In order:
1: Gods and Generals/LotR
2: Gettysburg
3: Man from Snowy River I & II
I also like the Little Women soundtrack, even though I've only ever heard it in the movie itself, and not separately.

The Lord of The Rings has great music, as well as Star Wars, Anne of Green Gables, Amazing Grace and Titanic. I love movies that have much instrumental music. I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of them now.

Most stuff by John Williams is pretty spiffy... especially Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park...

I love soundtracks. That's really funny - I just got Gods and Generals after wanting it for a long time. I couldn't find it for under $20 until last week. I'm pretty much playing it nonstop. And Little Women is one of my all-time favorites. You should totally get it, Perron. Actually, I like all Thomas Newman soundtracks. Among other things, he scored Little Women, Finding Nemo, A Series of Unfortunate Events (another personal favorite), and Wall-E. All of his music is just hauntingly gorgeous. Another great (but largely unknown) one is Nicholas Nickleby by Rachel Portman. That one has a great main title.
KING BUTTER TURTLE IS MY TWIN!
I like the soundtrack to Forrest Gump. I love listening to my sister play it on the piano. I like it on just the piano better than the full orchestra. Call me weird if you have to.
ToO siblings: Donna Blackbeard, Perron, Evil Chick, American Eagle, Stubborn, Shadowfax, and thelordismyshepherd (aka Anna), but StrongNChrist is my twin!

I absolutely adore 'Pan's Lullaby' from Pan's Labrynth. Here's a link if anyone wants to hear it:
Pan's Lullaby
It's the third one down from the top- 1:47 in length.
Feel free to post links to soundtracks you like. I'll be adding to this thread at later dates, too .

I heart soundtracks. They are especially helpful in times of crisis... like when you find yourself facing writer's block.
