I'm allergic to reading. One time in grade 4 I got a rash from reading too much! But at least I won that reading contest by a mile... except then they had to make a rule for the next reading contests that you could only submit 2 hours of reading a day. All because I got allergic to reading.

](*,)

I may consider joining though.

No, it's books created with wiki technology (anyone can edit). So, where the more familiar wikipedia is an encyclopedia, wikibooks is a library.

I wanna join! \:D/ I looove reading! I love it THIS much! *stretches out arms for emphasis*

I'm kinda sad that the contest starts now, though. :( It's going to be hard to keep up with my exams coming up soon.
Just read your textbooks and count those pages.

Just read your textbooks and count those pages.
But they have lots of gaps for pictures and assignments. :(

Hmmm, since I didn't know what wikibooks were until now, I didn't anticipate this question. :-k I'm going to say yes, if there are PDF and/or printable versions of the books (for page count purposes).

Erm, quick question. Has the faction been made yet? If so, what is it titled? :p

Sure. A book's still a book, even if read on a screen. :)

The faction is officially up; it will show up as a sub-forum under McCalister Park, and is called Summer Reading Contest. :D

I have added everyone who's signed up for this contest, as well as V-lady, Anna><>, and King Butter Turtle, as you three have expressed an interest in it, and what better way to decide if it's something you want to do than to see it for yourself! :p

Remember, the faction is auto-join, and all participants and non-participants are welcome to join it and discuss away (though if you haven't signed up yet and you still want to, there will be a thread in the faction for you to do so). \:D/

Haha, I really wasn't planning on it, but there are a few books I'd like to read.

*checks it out*
