Shrek

Post by katrinameltzner »

What are everyone's thoughts on Shrek, the first movie? I have never seen it, but it was given to me today, and I am planning on watching it sometime this week.

Is it good?

Let me know!
Intentions are good;
Committment is necessary;
But in order to move forward,
Actions are required.

I saw the first movie in the theaters when it first came out. I did not care for it. The person who went with me liked it. I have never watched the second one and do not plan on watching it.

Uh...I thought it was okay...if you like crude humor and wierd funniness. There isn't as much bad stuff in it as I suspected...and despite all the lewdness and vulgarity it's a nice story. Heh.

So don't watch it.

I liked it. I thought both parts were really funny. They have great music. Although, it is true that they have a lot of crude "bathroom humor". But still classically funny.

I like it, but there are some parts I don't like, with Shrek 2 the same thing applies.

Aside from the crude humor, I found both Shrek and Shrek 2 to be hilarious.

I thought Shrek & Shrek 2 were okay. Of course, as others said, the crude humor was unpleasant =;. If it wasn't for that, I would probably like them better. I think the first one had more crude jokes than the second one, but I didn't like the story as well in number two.

Yeah, all right, can be quite funny, too bad the producers thought they had to use so much bathroom humor. It was good to see once, but no second time for me.

I loved Shrek 1 and 2! They were so funny! I love how they poke fun at all these fairy tales! Some of the jokes were stupid humor but a lot of them, you have to be older to get them!

I love how the donkey and Shrek get along, the donkey's dialog is always fast and pretty witty...and in Shrek 2, he got even more crazy!

Indeed. I enjoyed them both, but the jokes (especially about pinochio) I could've done without.

I loved both of them, they're classic, as long as you don't mind a bit of crude humor here and there.

If you want something that totally spoofs pop culture then it's great. I think Shrek 2 had a little better story line.
