When someone sends you that email with the abbreviation "LOL" in it, how do you mentally pronounce the word?

Oh, awesome. I used to think it was so strange that I mentally pronounce it as "lole" with a long o. I still have no idea why I pronounce it like that since it looks as if it should have a short o, but at least I'm not alone.

I pronounce it the same way for my own amusement, though I assume properly its l-o-l.Iron and Light wrote:Lol... the 'o' is short, as in 'Bob'.
