Only 400,000 before it's a million. That will be amazing.

That is quite impressive. I can't believe that we are already up to 600,000 posts. Let's keep going!

OK. So I'm tired, and at first I thought J-man was saying he had just passed 600,000 posts. I was about to whisk it away to HH, too :(

I think it is quite possible to hit a million before the year is over.

We have been around for 3 and half years and have only gotten 600,000 posts. I dont think we would be able to get 400,000 in the next 2 1/2 months... it might be years from now...

At this rate, it'll take a little over two years until we hit one million. It's possible... unless we switch to phpbb 3.0 during that time.

Would a switch over to phpbb 3.0 reset the post count?

Nope. We can convert all the users and posts. It'll take some work to keep the other stuff though.

600k is pretty good. It reminds me of all the posting wars, money races and silliness that used to go on around here.

But of course, since then there have been quite a few eccentric new users like myself who altogether rise the count rather significantly. ;)
