Craigslist.com

Anyone?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Soo... I was looking at it earlier, and I wanted to know what you guys thought about it. Any good? All junk? Should it be shunned and boycotted and removed from the face of the earth?!

I have had no personal experience with it, although one of my classmates swore by it. He loved it to death! Every class day, he would bring some new gadget he got for 40% of the SMRP on craigslist!

Same here. We had a pop-up with a for sale sign in our driveway for a few months. Put it on Craig's List, sold it a day or two later, and the new owners picked it up a few days later. We had at least two other offers come up while in the process of selling the camper to the couple who bought it.

We use Craigslist all the time. Everything sells quick, sometimes within a few hours of posting. And it's free. That's all I have to say about that I think.

Hah. Craigslist is the epitome of awesomeness.

We have sold tons of stuff on it, and always incredibly fast. i've sold some stuff within an hour of listing it \:D/

It is also awesome for finding stuff to buy. We've gotten some sweet stuff off of there, too.

However, it all kind of depends on where you live. When we lived in Iowa, no one knew what Craigslist was, so we never used it. But living in Phoenix where every person and their dog uses the site....it's very useful \:D/

It's fun to browse... but there's so much spam in some of the categories. Also, the Rants and Raves and Best-of-Craigslist are always entertaining*! \:D/

*but often foul mouthed, so take care kiddies. ;)

I tried to find a nanny job through it...no luck yet, though.

Use it all the time!! \:D/ Especially the Farm/Garden section. We have sold/bought many things and my dad was very surprised at how efficient it was!
