Songs that make you cry

Here's the place for discussing music, plays, YouTube videos, and any other media that doesn't quite fit in the other sections of Harlequin Theatre.

"He's my Son" ~ Mark Schultz

It kills me every time.
Eugene Meltsner? I don't think so. Secret agents wear sunglasses and drive around in cool cars. Eugene wears coke-bottle glasses and rides around on a bike.

The songs from the Once soundtrack almost make me cry.

Specifically, The Hill, Falling Slowly, and If You Want Me.

Oh my goodness, this song is so amazing. My friend and I listened to it over and over. It's beautiful.

I know it...that's a song that when you sing (like in the shower, doing the dishes, just randomly), you can't help but belt it out. "Can You hear me? Am I getting through tonight?"

This one doesn't actually make me cry, but very close: DJ Sammy - Heaven, 9/11 remix (When I listen to it, that is...I haven't actually watched it.)
It's so sweet and sad at the same time

"When God Ran" by Phillips Craig and Dean gets me very, very close. I cried the first time I heard it, and it's given me goose bumps every time since.

*checks her playlist for more*

Most of these don't make me cry as much as they choke me up/give me goose bumps:

"East to West" by Casting Crowns

"Welcome to our World" by Chris Rice

"Where's it Always Been" by Phillips Craig and Dean

"Worth it All" by FFH

"Make My Life a Prayer to You" by Kathy Troccoli

"May I Be His Love for You" by Kathy Troccoli

"God Speaking" by Mandisa

"Shine on Us" by Phillips Craig and Dean

"This is How it Feels to Be Free" by Phillips Craig and Dean

"You Have Been Good" by Scott Krippayne

"Every Single Tear" by Scott Krippayne*

*This one has actually made me bawl.
God promises a safe landing, not smooth passage.

:shocking: + :jester: =

East to West???? AH! (I literally hate that one so much now because I've heard it so much. The last straw was broken at the concert I went to...)

I've never heard of any of those... *goes to youtube to listen*

He's My son... ALWAYS!
Butterfly Kisses - Bob Carlisle (so sad... so sweet!)
Amazed - Lonestar (LOVE IT!)
