If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

I've lived in Canada all of my life, and have never been outside it's borders. (I've only twice ever been outside my province.)

I didn't realize that either. I've never been to Canada before, I have never left the Southern part of the US, with the exception of a trip to PA. My Mom, however, has been to Canada. She says you hardly notice a difference when you cross the border, except, it's colder. :D

Ya, you'd better... for those of you who haven't been to canada it's NOT just a cold-ridden unpopulated tundra. :shame:

No, I don't like Canada because everyone's head is disconnected from their jaw. :noway:

But references to classic cartoons aside, I went to Toronto once to see one of the last Toronto showings of Phantom of the Opera (when Gene Simmons was playing the Phantom, so that was pretty cool), and there were like beggars on every street corner and pick-pockets all over the place (I actually took one down for the police who were chasing after him), so while Toronto is only a tiny portion of the country, it didn't leave a good impression on me. ;)

I'm not a real Canadian, but I play one on TV... er... :anxious: um... the answer is no, sadly.

Oh ya, and it's probably way better in New York City...

I never thought that Canada was a frozen wasteland. Actually, I WISH I could live there. I watched Anne of Green Gables (filmed on location in Prince Edward's Island) and LONGED to go there :D.
