Favorite Book(s) you've read

Post by Alisha Richardson Wolfe »

My favs are Dee Henderson's books (all of them!) They rock. She's so good and funny and the characters are real. She interweaves great Christian principles in her books and touch questions about faith and common issues people have that are sometimes obstacles to believing.

I also like Max Lucado's The Applause of Heaven. I laughed my way through that book. It was great and it really brought the Beautitudes alive and gave them new meaning for me.

I also like Joseph by Terri somebody (the name escapes me at the moment). She really brings the story alive (doesn't hurt that the story of Joseph is one of my favorite Bible stories along with Esther).

Oh and can't forget the Bible itself. God's word is the best book out there. Nothing we humans write can even begin to compare.

So now you share your favorite book(s) and why.
I like Odyssey. DBD was my favorite saga and I am friends with Eric Delko and prplrane_13. Marisol Delko Caine is my sister. I like Ponybox and listen to Linkin Park and Newsboys.

Alas, Dee Henderson too.
Any CSI (if Cult Following counts... and that one with Eric and the terrorist...)
Max Luxcado's "3:16" was a funny book. I'm never going rock climbing in my life, by how scared he was. It's funny how he can intwine that, Pluto, and Nichodemus into the whole thing (word for word of John 3:16, and it is soooo good!)
Um... The color me series by Melody Carlson. Good books, but now they've got me scared. Hehe to me, ha?

Probably more, but I can't think.

Bible #1, BJ's book second, and Dee Henderson rules at 3rd. Beverly Lewis can catch my eye....

I also like Dee Henderson books!

I love pretty much all of L.M. Mongomery's books - I can re-read them and really enjoy them over and over again.

I also really like books by Robin Jones Gunn, particularly the Christy Miller series and the Glenbrooke series. \:D/ Again, I can read them repeatedly and still love them every time.

A Wrinkle in Time and the related stories by Madeline L'Engle. I like the math-fiction and kid-friendly sci-fi-lite. I liked when they went back in time and lived with Noah and when they had to go inside one of the brother's mitochondria. :anxious:

My favorite books are the Left Behind books in general. But my all time favoritest book is To Kill a Mockingbird. But, I also love White Fang, which is my second favorite. As a kid, I used to read all the Little House on the prairie books too. My favorite one was either, Little House in The Big Woods or Little House and Plum Creek. Come to think of it, I really liked The Long Winter, too. Wow, I didn't realize how many books I like. I don't really read for fun anymore. I might read for enjoyment during the summer, on occasion though.
I do what I do.

I finished reading the Mermaid in the Basement by Gilbert Morris, and I liked it. It's a Christian mystery.

I just finished reading a series by Colleen Coble called the Rock Habor Series I think. It's really good. They're Christian romance/mysteries. Though more mystery then romance.
I like Odyssey. DBD was my favorite saga and I am friends with Eric Delko and prplrane_13. Marisol Delko Caine is my sister. I like Ponybox and listen to Linkin Park and Newsboys.

I don't know what my favorite books are. I love to read so I have several of favorite books. I just don't know which one I like best. I know that I like historical fiction books, mysteries, and adventures. I don't like fantasy books at all!

I really enjoyed the CS Lewis Space Trilogy and Dinotopia, but I forgot most of Dinotopia (I'll need to read that again).
