Overview of Game Play
The players are divided into 2 groups and 2 sub-groups: Werewolves and posse, hunter(s) and doctor (sub-groups of posse). Each round consists of a day and a night. During the day, everyone discovers who was eaten during the previous night and discusses who they think is a Werewolf. At dusk, a vote is taken and one player is shot with a silver bullet (the only way to kill a werewolf). During the night, the Werewolves pick one of the posse's members to eat. This player is out of the game and the round is over. The game continues until all the Werewolves have been eliminated, or until there are an equal number of Werewolves and posse members, at which point the Werewolves eat everyone.
Identities are distributed randomly at the start of the game.
Werewolves
The Werewolves know who the other Werewolves are, but their identity is a secret from the posse. If you are a Werewolf, you don't want the posse to find out.
During the day, a Werewolf should act like a member of the posse. At the same time, they should try to protect themselves and the other Werewolves from being shot with the silver bullet. A Werewolf will vote, along with the Humans, to select someone to be shot with a silver bullet.
During the night, each Werewolf transforms into their animal form. A secret vote is taken and the posse member with the most votes is eaten.
Posse
The posse does not know the identity of anyone else in the game. Through discussion, it is the posse's goal to identify the Werewolves and eliminate them.
During the day, everyone discusses who they think is a werewolf. A vote is taken and one player (hopefully a Werewolf) is shot with a silver bullet.
During the night, the posse sleeps. When everyone wakes up, one posse member will have been eaten.
Hunter
One of the posse is a powerful Hunter who can ask me the identity of one player per day. During the day the Hunter may select one player to magically identify. I will then pm the player's identity to the Hunter.
The Hunter votes along with everyone else. If the Hunter is eaten, they are out of the game and their divining abilities are no longer available.
Doctor
It is your job to try and protect one member every night. It must be someone besides yourself. You cannot protect the same player more than twice, and you may not protect the same player in two consecutive nights. The doctor will pm me the name of the person that they want to protect before the voting ends during daytime.
Voting
During the day portion of each round, everyone votes for a player to shoot with a silver bullet. All voting is done in public (just post your vote in this thread in BOLD), so everyone knows who everyone else voted for. You may change your vote at any time before the voting ends. The voting will end instantly as soon as any player has a majority of the votes. If no majority is reached by the voting deadline, the player with the most votes will be chosen.
During the night portion of each round, the Werewolves pm me to eat one person. The werewolves are not allowed to talk to each other and they will not know who the other werewolves voted for. Each werewolf will pick the top 3 people that they want to eat and pm their votes to me. Once all the votes are in, or the deadline has been reached, the votes will be tallied and one posse member will be eaten.
In the event of a tied vote, someone will be chosen at random.
Winning
Werewolves Win: This happens when the number of Werewolves is equal to or more than the number posse members.
Posse Wins: This happens when the last Werewolf has been eliminated.
My rule: I've noticed that inactive players slow the game down a bit. So, two strikes and your out. Meaning, if one fails twice to vote, or pm your top 3 to me (for werewolves), or ask for an identity (seer), or if you forget to protect someone (doctor) then you will be kicked out of the game... There may be a few exceptions (i.e. you're gonna be gone on vacation for 2 days or something in which case you would need to pm me. )

At the beginning of each round, I will create a rule to abide by that round. For the entire round, everyone must cohere to that rule.
A rule will be introduced as such: "DYNAMIC RULE: You must make all posts in the color red!"
At the end of the round, the rule is dropped and is no longer in effect. A new rule will take its place.
WARNING:
If you break the rule for the round, you will be MUTED for that round. That is, any posts you make for the remainder of the round, I will edit to say [MUTE].
A player may "Tattle" on another player! If you "Tattle" and I catch it, you get a pendant of freedom! ( = Pendant of freedom)
With a pendant of freedom, if you break a rule, you lose the pendant rather than get muted. A pendant can last the entire game, but you may only have one pendant at a time.
If you "Tattle" on another player, but that player edits it before I catch it, then nothing happens. He/She got away with it.
- Obviously I will be scanning the round for infractions very frequently. But if someone like Abigail posts "Hey cyberstar! Pseu used a smiley!" and I haven't noticed it yet, I will award Abigail a Pendant for catching him and silence Pseu. If Pseu quickly edits his post before I read it, then he got away with it (even if he's "tattled" on).
--> Be careful! Those people will probably be keen on turning you in as well!
- If a person with a Pendant breaks the Dynamic Rule, then I will [CENSOR] the error, warn them in their post, and take away their Pendant. A Pendant is basically an "extra life" for a round.
- No person can have more than one Pendant at a time.
- Pendants DO carry over to the next round.
Start signing up!!
I will be using the old dynamic rules, plus adding a few of my own.
Practice rule.
Dynamic rule of round #0
You can not post in caps.
